Creative Projects

When our lives fall to pieces, and it seems there is no direction and nothing makes sense, we need a clear path forward. In this session I discuss picking up those shattered pieces and returning them to a cohesive less chaotic journey that is our lives. The session project is a loosely guided mosaic artwork using cut up paper and glue. Side projects with a mosaic theme will be added to Youtube leter.

Session 001 gets you started with the basics. Exploring the most rudimentary of drawing skills, this session will show how the abstract and unorganized nature of doodling can help with organizing thoughts, focusing on a particular subject, or directing the mind toward a goal. Session 006 Nostalgia and Anemoia involves using these explorations into the longing for a time we have lived in or the feelings of nostalgia for a time we have not known. The featured project is a vintage style lantern ornament to display and help recall those feelings of warmth, love and belonging that come with nostalgia and anemoia.

Session 002 discusses fidgeting and various tools people use to get their fidgeting energy out. A demonstration of making "stress balls" is included. Worksheets and Materials list are available for download under Resources on the webpage.

Session 003 takes you through how journaling can assist in achieving goals, gaining insight, connecting with your spiritual self, and so much more. Session 004 Sacred Space Is a project and explanation of starting and maintaining a s sacred space. A sacred space is a small safe place to collect items that are representative of you and your spiritual journey. It is sacred in that it is not shared with others or with pets. This is a refuge for things that you can visit often to inspire and remind you of your self awareness and spiritual growth. Session 005 covers expression through color. We express ourselves in many ways, from words to styles and furnishings. This session focuses on color to express and inspire.
